Extraordinary Quality Starts With Technical Competence, Quality Systems, and Compliance with international standards

EMPOWERING MSMEs FOR BUSINESS EXCELLENCE THROUGH QUALITY ENABLEMENT AND CAPACITY BUILDING

Gunvatta Samriddhi is a structured industry connect initiative led by the NBQP to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). By leveraging QCI’s robust institutional expertise and national accreditation infrastructure, this initiative addresses critical challenges such as complex compliance requirements, high certification costs, and limited market access. The project serves as a collaborative bridge connecting MSMEs with large corporations, public sector undertakings, regulators, and industry associations. Ultimately, it drives a national transition from basic regulatory compliance to sustainable, excellence-driven manufacturing capabilities.

OBJECTIVES

KEY FEATURES

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) form the backbone of India’s economic growth, contributing significantly to national employment, manufacturing output, and export performance. However, these enterprises frequently encounter intense global competitive pressures alongside evolving domestic and international regulatory demands. This structured initiative positions quality as a core driver for business growth, reducing institutional certification burdens and accelerating the integration of MSMEs into organized supply chains. By fostering a buyer-led and demand-based approach, the project aligns enterprise operations with key national priorities like Atmanirbhar Bharat, Made in India, and Ease of Doing Business.
Despite their vital economic contributions, India’s MSMEs continue to face structural hurdles that limit their growth and global competitiveness. Micro, small, and medium enterprises frequently struggle with complex quality compliance requirements and highly intricate certification processes. Additionally, the high cost of formal conformity assessments and limited access to organized markets restrict their expansion. These businesses also encounter significant difficulties when trying to integrate into the structured supply chains of large enterprises and public sector entities. Without strategic intervention, these barriers prevent MSMEs from meeting strict global regulatory standards and cap their export potential. Gunvatta Samriddhi delivers a comprehensive, integrated framework designed to transform MSME capabilities through targeted quality enablement and structured capacity building. The solution operates as a collaborative multi-stakeholder bridge that connects MSMEs directly with large enterprises, PSUs, industry associations, regulators, and conformity assessment bodies. Rather than focusing purely on administrative compliance, the project drives an ecosystem-wide shift toward sustainable, excellence-driven industrial growth. This is achieved by delivering dedicated training, hands-on handholding, and standardized assessment tools directly to manufacturing units.
